SALVATION IN CHRIST ALONE
At Lakeland Bible Church we believe in the freeness of God's grace, in the completeness of Jesus Christ's redeeming work on the cross, and in His resurrection. We attempt to proclaim this good news with the same simplicity that it is expressed in the following Bible verses. We also believe that nothing can be added to what they say that will make the reality of salvation any more certain.
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8 NKJV)
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, (1Corinthians 15:1-4 NKJV)
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus Christ promises to give eternal life to anyone who believes the Bible verses quoted above. He guarantees this promise. Do you believe this?
If you believe the above statements to be true then you are eternally saved.
